The Circus Peanut was created by Russ Maddin and is one of our favorite articulated streamer patterns to tie and fish on Central Alberta waters! From Brookies to Bulls this fly attracts them all! 

Circus Peanut Materials List 

Hook #1 - Size #4 straight eye or down eye hook 

Hook #2 - Size #6 straight eye hook 

Thread - Any 3/0 of 210 Denier thread in a appropriate color for your scheme 

Eyes - Dumbbell Eyes large or XL 

Tail - Marabou 

Flash - Krystal Flash Material 

Body - Large Cactus Material 

Body Hackle - Schlappen Feathers

Legs - Any brand leg that is limp such as Wapsi Silli Legs

Trailer Wire - Senyo's trailer wire or Shor Trailer wire

Spacer Bead - Size #
