Freestone Drift Trips

Trips can be booked between April 15th and October 31st We typically experience unfishable blowout conditions caused by seasonal runoff between May and June however blowout conditions due to runoff can vary greatly year to year. Feel free to contact us at anytime to discuss our regions anticipated seasonal conditions. The most predictable water of the season is typically late July to October. We recommend that clients planning to travel to our region exclusively to fish book in this timeframe.

Springtime fishing in Central Alberta can be amazing however conditions are touch and go at this time of year. Give us a shout if you are looking at a springtime trip and we can discuss conditions and your options to ensure your expectations are met.

We recommend to all our clients that you purchase 3rd party trip insurance when booking with us.

-Transportation to and from our shop in Olds

-Your guide, their expertise and their full attention

-All snacks, beverages and lunches are provided

-Any and all required equipment and supplies including waders ,rods, flies, line, etc.

Our trips are very inclusive, and our prices reflect this. We do not have any additional charges above and beyond the booking price of your trip. What the trip is listed for is what you pay no matter the length of the day or the number of flies used, the amount of food and beverages that are consumed etc. We pride ourselves in exceeding the service expectations of our clients and we have no hidden or extra charges outside of the trips listed price.

What you need to bring:

-Come dressed for the weather. Layering is recommended, A rain jacket, a change of clothes and a towel in case we have incremental weather and a sweater and heavy outer jacket.

- A good pair of polarized sunglasses

-Any of your own equipment or flies that you wish to use is welcome

- Any required medication such as epi pens etc.

All Trips Require a 50% deposit at time of booking. Your dates will not be held until the deposit has been received. The remainder will be due 48hrs prior to the start of your trip.

Freestone Drift Trip Season Pass

1-2 Anglers

X3 walk & wade trips to be scheduled in the 2023 season

(A 50% Deposit is required on season pass, remaining charges will be billed out within 48hrs of each scheduled trip)

$2,100.00 plus gst & gratuity

FYI: Season passes can be mixed and matched with drift and other trips upon request. If you exceed your x3 trips in a season additional trip will continue to be discounted. All clients that book overnight or multiday trips qualify for season pass rates for any other day trip bookings that season!
