Red Deer River Ranches - Bar 75

Just a short drive from the Yaha Tinda Ranch and from the town of Sundre, Red Deer River Ranches provides guests with a ton of recreational opportunities.

The property has three cabins as well as a historic barn constructed in 1910 that has a large balcony and common area. The property accommodates up to three couples in a private setting and up to five couples in a semi private setting. For individuals that don’t mind sharing accommodations the Ranch can easily house up too 10 guests comfortably. There is also two additional bathrooms with showers located in a separate out building from the cabins and to top it all off there is a hot tub located in a common area just outside the cabins by the main fire pit.

The two main loft style cabins have full kitchens as well as a full bathroom. Each cabin has two beds in the loft and one bed located on the main floor in the back of the cabin.

The smaller hunters cabin comes equipped with full kitchen, one half bath and one bed as well as a set of bunk beds.

There is plenty to do in the town of Sundre including shopping, some great pubs and restraunts and even the Sundre Museum. There are also lots of outdoor activities available in the region including white water rafting and kayaking trips, Horse back riding, Hiking and Mountain biking.

The fly fishing opportunities in the area are extensive. For fly anglers there are opportunities for both freestone and tailwater drifts, Stillwater trips and walk & wades as well as opportunities to fish some amazing high country lakes and streams. Booking Dates: Trips can be booked between April 1st and October 31st We typically experience unfishable blowout conditions caused by seasonal runoff between May and June however blowout conditions due to runoff can vary greatly year to year. Feel free to contact us at anytime to discuss our regions anticipated conditions. The most predictable water of the season is typically late July to October. We recommend that clients planning to travel to our region exclusively to fish book in this timeframe.

Springtime fishing in Central Alberta can be amazing however conditions are touch and go at this time of year give us a shout if you are looking at a springtime trip and we can discuss conditions and your options to ensure your expectations are met.

We offer two different styles of trip for our private venues “Hosted Trips” and “All Inclusive Trips”.

Hosted Trips are for clients that prefer to look after their own transportation to and from the venue as well as their own meals and beverages for the duration of their trip. Shuttle services for non angling guests are not included in Hosted Trips.

All Inclusive private venue trips are our ultimate fully serviced fly fishing trip. We provide everything for your trip including but not limited too. Shuttle services from Calgary, Edmonton or Red Deer, shuttle services to anywhere during the duration of your trip including shuttles for non fishing group members, All of your meals snacks and beverages and full time staff on site and on the clock 24/7 for your entire trip.

Trip Pricing: Red Deer River Ranches

All Trips Require a 50% deposit at time of booking. Your dates will not be held until the deposit has been received. The remainder will be due 1 week prior to the start of your trip.

Private Venues have a minimum stay of 2 days or more and a minimum charge of 2 anglers. Non fishing guests are welcome and have a reduced rate for both Hosted and All Inclusive trips. Extended stays allow our clients to explore the region and experience all that West Central Alberta has to offer. Non guided days are available during your stay contact us today and we will be happy to customize your trip and its pricing to meet your specific criteria.
